Tinka's Kennel is located 80 kilometres north of Oslo, the capital of Norway. At present, about 40 Greenland dogs, two Norwegian Lundehund dogs and two persons on two legs live here.

The owner, Katinka Mossin, has been living with Greenland dogs, showing, breeding and mushing them for over 30 years. She registered her kennel name in 1977, but she already had two generations of her "own line" at that moment.

Tinka's Kennel is trying to breed social Greenland dogs with good temperament and with properties necessary for working and living in the snow.

Dogs from the kennel have achieved very good results both in showing and mushing. More than 30 dogs owned and/or bred by Tinka's Kennel have won champion titles.

More importantly however, most dogs from the kennel have a good temperament and are social and healthy.

The kennel has exported dogs to England, Germany, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Spitzbergen.
